Zusammenfassung
Die multidisziplinäre Simulation von Fahrzeugen hilft dabei, das System Gesamtfahrzeug besser zu verstehen, Effizienzsteigerungspotenziale systematisch zu erschließen und zu bewerten sowie die verkehrsbedingten CO2-Emissionen zu senken. In der vom Deutschen Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR) entwickelten Bibliothek „AlternativeVehicles“ sind Modelle von fahrzeugspezifischen Einzelkomponenten, Subsystemen und Gesamtfahrzeugen in unterschiedlichen Detaillierungsstufen enthalten. Verschiedene Antriebskonzepte können somit im Hinblick auf ihre Energieeffizienz untersucht und optimiert werden.
