Zusammenfassung

Der neue Mondeo, vor wenigen Wochen eingeführt, ist das technisch höchstentwickelte Automobil, das Ford bislang auf den Markt gebracht hat. Eine Vielzahl von Assistenzsystemen wie das Auffahrwarnsystem FA (Forward Alert) und das Aufprallminderungssystem durch Bremseingriff CMbB (Collision Mitigation by Braking) unterstützen den Fahrer effektiv. Das für seine guten dynamischen Eigenschaften bekannte Fahrwerk wurde für das neue Modell nochmals überarbeitet. Das ATZ-Titelthema gibt einen Überblick über die wichtigsten technischen Innovationen des neuen Mondeo.
