Komponenten wie Kühlsystem, Scheinwerfer und Motorhaubenschloss werden heute vermehrt als Modul entwickelt und geliefert. Dieser Beitrag von Dow Automotive beschreibt die Entwicklung eines solchen Moduls, bei der ein langglasfaserverstärktes Polypropylen-Spritzgussteil und eine elektrotauchlackierte Metallverstärkung mit dem Klebstoff „Betamate LESA“ verbunden werden. Diese Lösung bietet ein besseres Leistungs-Gewichtsverhältnis und Vorteile in Design und Konstruktion.
