Zusammenfassung

Die neue BMW R 1200 GS setzt als Nachfolgerin der R 1150 GS in der Klasse der großen Reise-Enduros neue Maßstäbe. Highlights sind unter anderem ein um bis zu 30 kg reduziertes Gesamtgewicht, der leistungsgesteigerte Motor, das neue Getriebe mit Schrägverzahnung oder die verbesserte Paralever- Hinterradführung, die nun Antriebseinflüsse auf die Federung vollständig eliminiert. Erstmalig bei einem Motorrad basiert das Bordnetz vollständig auf der CAN-Bus-Technik.
