A survey of Fusarium toxins in Austrian feed stuffs

Abstract

During the last decade observations have been made concerning the occurrence of the fusariotoxins zearalenone and deoxynivalenol in Austria. Feed samples were tested in a large-scaled examination. They usually consisted of cereals (barley, oat, wheat, rye and corn), mixed feed (meal or pellets) and corn or corn cob silage.
