Abstract
This article describes the details and validation of an assessment grid, of a programme C.A.R.E. (Child Abuse Research and Education). The problems of sexual abuse of children in their homes is presented, with methods of prevention. The questionnaire was administered to 179 children, of different socio-economic groups. The analysis of the results point to the reliability of the questionnaire (discrimination of the items, truth of the coefficients, time stability and validity of the findings). In addition, the results demonstrate how the children’s knowledge, relative to the concepts and methods of prevention transmitted by the programme C.A.R.E. grow, which demonstrates that acquisition of knowledge continues after participation in the programme. The results confirm the validity of the programme, and the questionnaire.
Resumen
Este articículo describe la elaboración y validación de una red de evaluación del programa C.A.R.E. (Investigación sobre el abuso de los nin~os y la educación). Se presenta el problema del abuso sexual de los nin~os y los programas de prevención. El cuestionario fué administrado a 179 nin~os de escuelas maternales de diferntes medios socioeconómicos. El análisis de los resultados ha permitido obtener la data sobre la base de las propiedades psicométricas del cuestionario (poder discriminatiro de los ítemes, coeficiente de confiabilidad, estabilidad temporal, valìdez concurrente). De hecho, los resultados obtenidos demuestran que los conocimientos de los nin~os a los conceptos y habìlìdades de prevencìón transmitidos por el programa C.A.R.E. aumentan, se demuestra una adquisición de concocimiento después de su participación en el programa. De acuerdo a estos resultados, el cuestionario piede ser utilizado en la evaluacìón del programa C.A.R.E.
