Summary

In this paper the Whittaker functions occurring in Poiseuille flow problems are studied in detail. Four functions analogous to the Bessel functionsJ, Y, I, K are introduced. Various convergent and asymptotic series representations are derived. This paper is a continuation of a previous paper and will be followed up by another.
