A review on the situation of immigration in spain in the european context

Abstract

Nowadays immigration has undoubtedly become one of most important ways supporting human mobility world around. It is not only a matter of improvement in transport vehicles, but it clearly deals with the idea and consequences of globalization. Immigrants are going where jobs are available, mostly developed countries. That is the case of USA, Canada, Western Europe... and specifically Spain.

However, there are several types and ways to immigrate. It is important to avoid illegal immigration and all those undesirable consequences from it.

According to these statements, this paper provides an overview on the situation of immigration in Spain, from the view of the European context. Usefulness of real co-development policies when aiming an adequate management of immigration flows is also pointed up.
