An investigation of Comprehensive Musicianship education of 4- to 6-year-old children

Abstract

This article deals with the “Comprehensive Musicianship” education of children from 4 to 6 years of age in a Chinese nursery school. “Comprehensive Musicianship” education is more than just musical education: it combines with other activities such as language, art, mathematics, and socialization to give young children basic skills and to develop their abilities to explore, discover, and be creative.

Resumen

Este artículo trata is de la educación a la “Comprehensión musical” en niños de 4 a 6 años de edad en jardines infantiles chinos. La educación a la “Comprehensión musical” es más que simplemente una educación musical: se combina con otras actividades tales como lenguaje, arte, matemáticas y socialización para dar a los niños pequeños las habilidades de base y para desarrollar las habilidades de exploración, de descubrimiento y de creatividad.

Résumé

Cet article traite de l’éducation à la “Compréhension musicale” chez des enfants âgés de 4 à 6 ans dans les jardins d’efants chinois. L’éducation à la “Compréhension musicale” va au delà d’une simple éducation musicale: elle se combine avec d’autres activités telles que le langage, l’art, les mathématiques et la socialisation afin de donner aux jeunes enfants les habilités de base et de développer chez eux l’exploration, la découverte et la créativité.
