Separation of electronic and non-electronic components of cosmic radiation by Bhabha’s method

Proceedings of the Indian Academy of Sciences - Section A Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

The theoretical results of the method suggested by Bhabha for the separation of the electronic and non-electronic components of cosmic radiation are experimentally verified. The absorption spectrum of electrons has been investigated by this method. At 1·7° N. of the geomagnetic equator and an altitude of 7,200 ft., the hard component constitutes 66·3% of the total intensity.
