Additional information

Sir Charles Cameron tells the writer that, in consequence of the Typhoid Fever Inquiry Committee’s Report laying so much stress on the high level of sub-soil water, the Public Health Committee have instructed Mr. Spencer Harty to establish observation wells, and that he has four wells now under observation in different parts of the city. The water in each of these wells is as high as it possibly can be.
