Free boundary value problems for equations of one-dimensional motion of compressible viscous fluids

Abstract

The global solution in time of the free boundary value problem, which is obtained by Kazhikhov, approaches some asymptotic solution at a decay rate oft −α att→∞, where α is a small positive constant, on the “smallness conditions” of the initial data and γ−1.
