Abstract

We have studied the influence of direct current and alternating current fields on the charge transport at temperatures at about 50 K below the fast-proton phase transition in K3H(SO4)2 doped with Cu2+, Mn2+ and CrO 3−4 ions. We have recorded a signal that behaved like a random telegraph signal and explain this phenomenon in terms of nonlinear phase-kink solitons pinned at the defects.
