Abstract
The paper reports on studies of pulsed electron beams measured along and perpendicularly to thez-axis, as well as other characteristics of plasma-focus discharges. Studies of highly-ionized argon-lines, as measured with temporal-resolution, are also presented. It has been found that the emission of highly ionized argon lines is well correlated with the electron beams and the appearance of successive hot-spots.
