Numerical investigations of the plasma parameters in the divertor configuration of the FTU tokamak

Abstract

Plasma parameters in the new divertor configuration of the high field FTU tokamak have been analyzed by means of the numerical codes FTUDIV and EPIT. The question of achieving high recycling and detached regimes for the FTU divertor operation is addressed in the paper.
