Zusammenfassung

Kasuistik eines erwachsenen Patienten mit anfangs fluktuierender und schließlich progredienter bitemporaler Hemianopsie. Kernspintomographisch zeigte sich ein zystischer Prozeß suprasellär mit deutlicher Verdrängung des Chiasma opticum. Nach stereotaktisch geführter Punktion der Zyste besserten sich die Gesichtsfelddefekte.

Summary

A case report of an adult patient with fluctuations of a bitemporal hemianopsia and at last progression of the visual field defects. After the diagnosis of a suprasellar arachnoid cyst by magnetic resonance imaging a stereotactic procedure was successfully performed, leading to an improvement of the visual field defect.
