Zusammenfassung

Wir berichteten 1985 über die Fundus-veränderungen bei einem damals 2 1/2jährigen Knaben mit primärer Hyperoxalurie Typ I. Das Kind starb im Alter von 4 1/2 Jahren an Nierenversagen, wobei der Obduktionsbefund die Mitbeteiligung zahlreicher Organe zeigte.

Die histologischen und elektronenmikroskopischen Befunde der Bulbi stehen zur Diskussion der Pathogenese dieser ausgeprägten Fundusveränderungen zur Verfügung.

Summary

In 1985 we reported about the ocular involvement in primary hyperoxaluria type I in eyes of a two years old boy. At the age of four and a half the child died on renal failure.

The pathomechanism of the retinal changes is discussed on histopathological and electron microscopical awards.
