Spectroscopical investigation of light scattering systems

  • Published:
Acta Physica Academiae Scientiarum Hungaricae

Abstract

The spectroscopical investigation of diffuse scattering systems can take place in two different ways: first, measuring the intensity of light which passed through the sample and second, which is remitted by the sample (transmission and remission measurements).

A combined sheet system of filter papers was used as model by the application the relative extinction measuring method. In this paper the symmetrical properties of the combined sheet systems have been investigated.
