Some remarks concerning the theory of quasistationary dye lasers

  • Published:
Acta Physica Academiae Scientiarum Hungaricae

Abstract

A phenomenological interpretation of the lasing processes in dye lasers is given on the basis of a simplified system of energy levels expressing the amplification coefficient and the threshold energy of pumping by the luminescence characteristics of the active medium. The conclusions are compared with experimental results.
