A study of the decay of145Sm by Ge(Li) detector techniques

Abstract

The gamma rays from the decay of145Sm were studied by Ge(Li) semiconductor detector techniques in a low background chamber. The gamma energies and intensities obtained are 61,4±0,5 keV(100), 120,8±2,0 keV (1,1·10−2) and 492,5±1,5 keV (2,5·10−2). That the 120,8 keV gamma rays belong to the decay under investigation was not uniquely determined.

Резюме

С помощью Ge(Li) детектора изучалось гамма излучение распада145Sm в камере низкого фона. Найденные энергии и интенсивности гамма-излучения составляют 61,4±0,5 кэв (100), 120,8±2,0 кэв (1,1·10−2) и 492,5±1,5 кэв (2,5·10−2). Принадлежность гаммалучей 120,8 кев к рассмотренному распаду нельзя было определить однозначно.
