Zusammenfassung

Y2k, technisch einfach, aber ein globales komplexes Organisations- und Managementproblem. Alle unsere Lebensbereiche sind abhängig von (teil-)automatisierten Prozessen und damit abhängig von zeitgesteuerter Hard- und Software.

Wie nähert man sich der Y2k-Problemlösung, wie stellt man die Ist-Situation fest, wie definiert man den Soll-Zustand und erreicht diesen, was geschieht mit verbleibenden Risiken (Notfallplanung) und wie sieht die Kosten-Nutzen-Analyse aus? Es gibt keine Patentrezepte, Prinzipabläufe gelten jedoch regional und branchenübergreifend.

Abstract

Y2k, technically simple, but a global and complex organisation/management task. All our life sectors depend on automatic processes and are therefore also dependent on time controled soft- und hardware.

How to achieve the Y2k solution, how to find out the actual situation, how to define the project measures to improve the problem, how to manage the remaining risks and at last how is the relation between costs on the one hand and effect on the other hand? It is evident that no simplyfied assignement may be avialable, however, principle processes to reduce Y2k injuries may be applied generally.
