Dispersion relation in Magneto-Plasma with radiation damping and collisions

  • Published:
Acta Physica Academiae Scientiarum Hungaricae

Abstract

The paper is devoted to a study of the dispersion relation in the case of propagation of small-amplitude longitudinal as well as transverse waves in Plasma in presence of an external uniform magnetic field. Here the statistical approach has been adopted for studying the Plasma. The effects of radiation damping and self-collisions on the propagation of the electromagnetic waves have been considered and compared with those cases where no such effects are present.
