Abstract
True Potential Energy Curves of the two available states of the AsS+ molecule have been constructed by the method ofLakshman andRao. For the first time the dissociation energy of the ground state of the AsS+ molecule has been estimated to be 42,750 cm−1 (5.3 eV), by fitting theHulburt—Hirschfelder function to the true potential energy curves. Ther-centroids and the Morse—Franck—Condon factors have been evaluated.
