Abstract
The introduction of general-purpose modeling languages like XML (Extensible Markup Language) allows descriptions of fieldbus components in a way suitable to support Internet based management solutions of fieldbusses. Based on exemplary realizations, the description method is shown and interfaces for the software design process are explained.
Zusammenfassung
Die Nutzung von allgemeinen Beschreibungssprachen wie XML (Extensible Markup Language) erlaubt eine Beschreibung von Feldbuskomponenten, die insbesondere Internet-basierte Managementlösungen für Feldbusse unterstützt. Basierend auf exemplarischen Lösungen wird die Beschreibungsmethode vorgestellt. Darüber hinaus werden Interfaces zum Prozess des Softwaredesigns für Feldbuskomponenten erläutert.
