Some investigations in the field of the theory of solids IV. A-B-type ordered binary systems in the plane and the space

Abstract

A mathematical method similar to that in the previous paper is used to calculate theA-B type ordered systems in the plane and in the space, for simple square and simple cubic lattices. The stability of the structure against dissociation is discussed in the chain-plane-space sequence and thus conclusions can be drawn as to the occurrence of crystals in the respective dimensions. The band scheme is discussed for the cases of vanishing and non-vanishing overlap integrals.

С математическим методом подобным методу примененному в предыдущей статье можно расчитатъ упрядочную систему А-В в плоскости для случая простой квадратной решетки и в пространстве для случая простой кубической решетки. Стабильность структу ры в отношении дисоциации может рассматриваться в серии цепь — плоскость — пространство и из этого можно сделать выводы в отношении встречаемости кристаллов в соответству ющих димензиях. Предметом исследования полосная структура исчезающих и неисчезаюшчих интервалах покрытия.
