Abstract
Assuming ak −4 singularity for the infrared behaviour of the gluon propagator, it is shown that the quark propagator is an entire function ofp 2 in the infrared region and it has an essential singularity atg 2=0 forp 2 ≠m 2 in axial gauges. A similar behaviour is shown in a Bloch-Nordsieck-type model, too.
