Samenvatting

Er moet een wetswijziging komen die de mogelijkheid biedt om een fusie van zorginstellingen te blokkeren wanneer die niet in het belang is van cliënten en medewerkers. Daartoe zal de Partij van de Arbeid (PvdA) het initiatief nemen, zo kondigt Tweede Kamerlid Agnes Wolbert aan. De huidige wet- en regelgeving biedt geen mogelijkheid om fusieplannen inhoudelijk te toetsen.
