Groepsbehandeling voor paren met geweld in hun relatie

Samenvatting

Huiselijk geweld komt veel voor en vormt een groot maatschappelijk probleem. Sinds een jaar of tien zijn er behandelprotocollen voor huiselijk geweld ontwikkeld, waarin slachtoffer(s) en dader doorgaans een apart hulpverleningstraject aangeboden krijgen. Omdat er redenen zijn om aan te nemen dat een gezamenlijke benadering van partners vaak meer resultaten oplevert als het om partnergeweld gaat, heeft ‘De Keerkring’ een dagprogramma opgezet, dat stoelt op parengroepstherapie. Visie, programma en methodieken van dit programma worden in dit artikel beschreven en geïllustreerd met een gevalsbeschrijving.
