Met ingang van 1 augustus 2007 is het toch mogelijk om het persoonsgebonden budget (PGB) netto aan Wmo-cliënten (Wet maatschappelijke ondersteuning) uit te keren. Dat meldt de Vereniging van Nederlandse Gemeenten (VNG) op haar website.
