Bij het verdelen van middelen in de gezondheidszorg wordt vaak gekeken naar effectiviteit en doelmatigheid. De doelmatigheidseis botst nogal eens met opvattingen over rechtvaardigheid. Dit constateert Elly Stolk, die op 2 september promoveerde aan de Erasmus Universiteit op het proefschrift Equity and efficiency in health care priority setting: how to get the balance right?.
