Samenvatting

Hoe gezond is Nederland? Hoe goed is onze zorg eigenlijk? Steeds vaker wordt politieke aandacht gevraagd voor het intensief monitoren van (volks)gezondheid en zorg. Belangrijke doelen zijn ‘benchmarken’ van de volksgezondheid en van prestaties van zorgsystemen. Daarvoor zijn goede data en indicatoren nodig. Met dit doel is er internationaal een aantal verschillende data- en indicatorprocessen in gang gezet. Worden die processen afgestemd en wat betekenen ze voor Nederland?
