Samenvatting

Hieronder volgt een beschrijving van de werkwijze om tot een retentiespalk te komen (in deze casus met toepassing van GrandTEC glasvezel, VOCO, Cuxhaven, Duitsland) na een actieve orthodontische behandeling (afb. 1 en 2).

Een zelfde werkwijze kan ook, zoals hier getoond op de afbeeldingen 3–8, een parodontaal verzwakt onderfront stabiliseren met eventueel het dubbele aantal vezels.
