Samenvatting

Tot 1996 bestond er in Nederland een terughoudend testbeleid ten aanzien van het humaan immunodeficiëntievirus (hiv). In 1999 stelde de WHO, gevolgd door de Gezondheidsraad, een actiever testbeleid voor, dat resulteerde in het programma ‘Actiever testen en counsellen’.
