Achtergrond Acetylsalicylzuur alleen geeft ongeveer 20% relatieve risicoreductie van hart- en vaatziekten. Met name bij hoogrisicogroepen zou een grotere risicoreductie uiteraard welkom zijn. Combineren van plaatjesaggregatieremmers is een manier om dit doel te bereiken. Door het verschillende werkingsmechanisme zijn de remmende effecten
