Samenvatting
Een zevenjarig meisje presenteerde zich met torticollis. Voorafgaand had zij een keelinfectie doorgemaakt. CT-scan van de cervicale wervelkolom toonde een atlantoaxiale subluxatie, ook wel het syndroom van Grisel genoemd. Patie¨nte werd behandeld met pijnstillers, spierverslappers en een harde halskraag gedurende een week.
Summary
A seven year old girl presented with torticollis preceded by pharyngitis. CT scan of the cervical spine showed atlantoaxial subluxation (Grisel’s syndrome). The patient was treated with pain medication, muscle relaxants and a rigid collar during a week.
