In december hoopt Jochen Cals te promoveren op zijn proefschrift Respiratory tract infections in general practice – enhanced communication skills and C-reactive protein testing to optimise management (zie ook het onderzoeksverslag op pagina 576 en verder). Cals wilde in zijn onderzoek een adequater antibioticagebruik stimuleren bij lageluchtweginfecties. In een interview vertelt hij over de resultaten.
