Samenvatting

Koortsconvulsies roepen vaak angst op bij ouders. Zij doen van alles om herhaling te voorkomen, zoals het toedienen van paracetamol of andere antipyretica bij koorts. In Finland deed men een elegant factorieel gerandomiseerd onderzoek om het effect van diclofenac rectaal, ibuprofen en paracetamol oraal (alle in maximale dosering) op het recidiveren van koortsconvulsies te bepalen.
