Samenvatting

We gebruiken veelal gezonde jonge mannen voor wetenschappelijk onderzoek. We beschouwen de resultaten daarvan vervolgens als toepasbaar voor man én vrouw. De inzichten hierover zijn echter veranderd en we worden ons ervan bewust dat sekseverschillen relevant kúnnen zijn bij veel aandoeningen.
