Achtergrond Acne is een veel voorkomende huidafwijking bij vrouwen. Er bestaat geen standaardbehandeling voor, maar orale anticonceptiva (OAC's) die oestrogeen en progestageen bevatten, worden vaak ter behandeling van acne aan vrouwen voorgeschreven.
