Samenvatting

Blijkbaar komt nog niet elke patiënt met een CVA op een stroke unit terecht. Voor haar promotieonderzoek naar het cognitieve functioneren na een CVA rekruteerde Marleen Gerritsen 194 nieuwe CVA-patiënten uit huisartsenpraktijken in de drie noordelijke provincies en 41 patiënten uit de stroke unit van het Academisch Ziekenhuis Groningen.
