Samenvatting

Nekpijn na een aanrijding komt veel voor. Meestal gaat die pijn vanzelf over. Bij sommige patiënten echter niet. Die gaan door het leven met veel pijn, krijgen de diagnose whiplash en zijn vaak verwikkeld in allerlei verzekeringstechnische problemen. Wat bepaalt er nu wie vanzelf beter wordt en wie als whiplashpatiënt door het leven gaat?
