Samenvatting

In 2000 nuttigde 86% van de Nederlanders van 16 jaar en ouder wel eens alcoholhoudende drank. Niet iedereen houdt het bij recreatief drinken. Volgens het CBS is ongeveer 13% van de bevolking een ‘zware drinker’ die op één of meer dagen per week meer dan zes glazen nuttigt. Dit komt neer op gemiddeld 250 zwaar drinkende patiënten per huisarts.
