Samenvatting

Terwijl de twintigste eeuwse gezondheidszorg primair gericht was op genezing, zal in de eenentwintigste eeuw preventie veel belangrijker worden. Diverse auteurs hebben gewezen op de ontwikkeling van een cultuur van maakbaarheid en ‘pech moet weg’ die zich voltrekt in veel domeinen van de samenleving.
