Abstract

Dislocated type 2 distal clavicular fractures have a high incidence of non-union, which can cause significant disabilities in active sporters or heavy manual labourers in daily activities. In this article we describe a new mini-open technique for the fixation of dislocated type 2 distal clavicular fractures using Corkscrew fixation (Arthrex, Naples, Florida, USA) in the coracoid process.
