Op 3 en 4 november 1995 gaf de Amerikaanse psychiater James A. Chu in een zaal in de RAI te Amsterdam, op uitnodiging van de Nederlands–Vlaamse Vereniging voor de bestudering van Dissociatieve Stoornissen (NVVDS), een aantal lezingen over de behandeling van posttraumatische stress en dissociatieve stoornissen.
