Samenvatting

Een aantal jaren geleden was gezinstherapie na een revolutionair begin tamelijk overzichtelijk. Er was een aantal herkenbare stromingen: de structurele van Minuchin; de strategische, ontwikkeld door Haley en door de groep rond Watzlawick; daarnaast de intergenerationele, die zich in Nederland vooral georganiseerd had rond Boszormenyi–Nagy; later, maar met hetzelfde revolutionaire elan werd de cybernetische stroming geïntroduceerd, die ontwikkeld was door Selvini Palazzoli en anderen.
