Resolving counterresistances in psychotherapy

Samenvatting

Dit boek behandelt psychotherapeutische zaken in een andere rangschikking en uit een ander gezichtspunt dan gebruikelijk is. Het referentiekader is het psychoanalytische – hetgeen niet op voorhand duidelijk is – en het gezichtspunt is dat van de counterresistance, letterlijk te vertalen als ‘tegenweerstand’, naar analogie met het begrip tegenoverdracht. Deze tegenweerstand (TW) wordt niet gedefinieerd, maar het lijkt te gaan om alle gedragingen van therapeuten in alle fasen van psychotherapie die in strijd zijn met de therapeutische taak, die dus a– of antitherapeutisch zijn, en gemotiveerd door weerstandsmotieven bij de therapeut.
