Abstract

De tijd aflezen van een digitale klok of het mededelen van een huisnummer zal de meeste mensen weinig moeite kosten. Hoe we deze snelle koppeling tussen de numerieke informatie uit de omgeving en onze spraak tot stand brengen is echter nog maar weinig onderzocht. In dit artikel wordt cognitief onderzoek besproken naar de spraakproductie van meercijferige getallen en de semantische componenten die hierbij betrokken zijn, geïllustreerd aan de hand van enkele patiëntbeschrijvingen.
