Het doel van dit onderzoek is te achterhalen of passief mobiliseren (doorbewegen) bij matig tot ernstig dementerende verpleeghuisbewoners een gunstig effect heeft op de mate van paratonie en op de ervaren verzorgbaarheid van deze bewoners.
