10e congres ISSPD. Den Haag, 19-22 september 2007

Samenvatting

Vijfhonderd psychotherapeuten en onderzoekers namen deel aan het internationale congres van de International society for the study of personality disorders (ISSPD). Het thema luidde ditmaal ‘Development and changeability of personality disorders: New frontiers in research and practice’. Op de pre-congress meetings waren toppers op het gebied van de persoonlijkheidsproblematiek als Livesley, Bateman, Fonagy en Young te beluisteren. De daarop volgende dagen waren geprogrammeerd met zeven plenaire sessies van in totaal dertien panels met vooraanstaande onderzoekers en therapeuten en dertig workshops en parallelsessies. In het vervolg vermeld ik enkele highlights.
